Do you dream of writing a book but don’t know where to start? Do you have any ideas for a book, but you can’t write in time? This article is for you!
Conceptualize your ideas
Do you already have an idea? Do you know what your book will be about? Take some time and think about the answers to the above questions. Prepare something like an outline, a plan with the main points of your novel.

Invent and characterize the characters in the book
You write a good book, so we should want our characters to be flesh and blood. Create character characteristics. Who are they, where do they come from, what is their purpose in life, what dreams? What do they look like, what do they like or dislike? Please note that you will not put all this information in the book! This stage is to help you get to know your characters very well, so that when you are awake in the middle of the night, you can answer the question: How would a given character react to such and such a situation? That is why this point is crucial in writing a book.
Start writing finally!
You won’t write a book unless you take the time to write. Set the times and days that are right for you when you plan to write. Many writers assume that it is best to write every day. At least one or even half a page written a day helps you a lot for several reasons:
1. You develop a habit and regularity.
2. Every day you come back to this story, you don’t miss some key or less key facts. It helps a lot to make the book authentic.
3. The less often you write, the harder it is to sit down and write harder when you are about to start writing.
4. You don’t want to leave your characters and don’t leave anything unfinished.
5. You can make corrections on a regular basis.
Postpone writing
Once you finish your story and write the magical “End”, make yourself free. Not necessarily from writing – you can start writing a new book. Make yourself free of this story for a minimum of a month and come back to it with a fresh look in a few weeks.
Correction of the book
You start reading your book, focusing not only on repetitions, multiple pronouns, or commas in appropriate places, but also on the plot. Ask yourself, do all the scenes make sense? What are they in my book for? Is your book hero’s behavior authentic? Are all threads explained? This stage is extremely important for the success of your book and may cause you to change its concept slightly.
Find someone who reviews your book
A month break from the book should give you a chance to look at the novel from a distance, and you will probably sooner catch some shortcomings and shortcomings than if you immediately started to correct it. However, it is also worth using outside help. If you have a trusted person around you who knows how to give constructive criticism, ask them to read your book. It will definitely pay attention to aspects that you had no idea about.
We hope that our guide will help you get through the writing process and your book will be a massive success. We keep fingers crossed!
